To have a successful install you need to do the following:
- Install and deploy the latest version of the Bentley Web Services Gateway.
- Setup a CONNECT ProjectWise Project from ProjectWise Explorer.
- Add Team Members to the ProjectWise Project.
- Install ProjectWise Edge.
- Access a CONNECT ProjectWise Project.
- Access an on-premises datasource.
1. Download and Setup your Bentley Web Services Gateway Server (version 02.05.02.03 )To ensure that it is working correctly, check the Implementation Guide for WSG, located in the install folder.
2. CONNECT your ProjectWise project to Bentley Cloud services. Download and setup the cloud integration module plugin Services, which will allow you to associate your ProjectWise Project to a CONNECTED Project on your ProjectWise SS4 (08.11.11.590 or 08.11.11.590 ProjectWise Explorer V8i) environment. Please review the linked announcement for SS4 users and download the plugin here.
- You must have a ProjectWise Project containing files that can be tested with. A workflow with states must be associated to the Project as well.
- The user you will be testing with must have the rights to change states in the Project.
3. You must be registered as a CONNECTED user. To find out if you are registered as a CONNECTED user, try to log in to https://connect.bentley.com. If you cannot log in, you are not registered. For help registering, please create a support request.
4. On your client desktop, please install ProjectWise Edge from the Fulfillment Center and connect to your Bentley Web Services gateway that has been configured.
- ProjectWise Edge is supported on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Operating Systems.
